Monck is a school of approximately 700 JK to Grade 8 students located centrally in the Town of Bracebridge, Ontario. Monck is situated in the district of Muskoka well known for its lakes, rivers and beautiful outdoors.
Major renovations were completed in 2008 for a new addition consisting of 10 rooms. This new addition also contains a new computer lab. Previous renovations were completed in 1991. Our school now encompasses 75,000 square feet.
Monck has 31 classrooms. It is the wheelchair accessile school for the Bracebridge area.
Our French Immersion program which began in 1988, has now grown to over 350 students. The FI program begins at the Senior Kindergarten grade level and enrols children from the Severn Bridge, Gravenhurst, Rosseau, Port Carling, Bala and Vankougnet areas.
