Grade 1 and 2 Class Web Page
I thought I would start by sharing a little bit of information about me. My name is Ms. Julie Blakeman. I am the very proud mom of two wonderful boys, who are 7 and 3. My eldest son, Braydon, attends school at Bobcaygeon and is currently in grade 2. My youngest son, Kalan will be attending full time Kindergarten here in the Fall. I am so excited to have both of my boys here at Bobcaygeon.
Before coming to Trillium Lakelands D.S.B, in 2000, I taught with The Peel Board of Education. While there, I taught high school Physical Education and Science for my first two years. After two years of teaching in a high school, I decided that primary was where I wished to be teaching. I change to the Elementary panel, where I had the opportunity to teach a combined grade 2 and 3 class and then a grade 1 class.
At that point, I decided to change school boards and move to Bobcaygeon in 2000. This will be my 12th year teaching at Bobcaygeon Public School. I previously taught Kindergarten, grade 2 and grade 3 at this school. I am thoroughly enjoying my new venture, teaching a combined grade 1 and 2 classroom. I am so happy to be a part of this wonderful community.
I look forward to working with all my new students and their parents this year.
