Class 75 MARCH
Language: (March 22 - 26) We will be reviewing The Story of Ruby Bridges. The students will answer questions and write a perspective essay on one of the characters in the text. Once complete, we will be watching the movie, The Story of Ruby Bridges.
(March 29 - April) We will be focusing on the affects ads have on their audience. Assignments and rubrics will follow.

Class 76 MARCH Language: We are beginning a novel study of Camp X. We will be reading each chapter in class and answering questions after each chapter. Questions that are not
completed during class will be assigned for homework and a due date of the following day. There will be a study of the author, Eric Walters, during the first week, which will be due on Thursday March 25. Students will also be doing a Paper Bag / Shoebox Book Report. They are to collect items or pictures of the items as we read the novel, then they will present them to the class with reasons why they chose the items. The box or bag must be decorated to suit the theme of the novel.
Math (Mar. 22 to Mar. 26): Review of adding and subtracting integers. Introducing multiplying integers. Math quiz on Tuesday March 30.
