Grade 7 and 8 Core French
Homework: Students are encouraged to review their notebooks at least once a week.
It is imperative that students are prepared for class each day. Our curriculum is oral based, making it very important that each student participate appropriately each class.
Below are timelines.
Grade 7:
February and March: Studying a new play called Marc le Magicien. We will start by watching the DVD and working on oral exercises. During the week of February 21st we will be starting literacy centres based on the play.
Grade 8:
February and March: Studying a new play called Chaperon Rouge et le loup fou. We will start by watching the DVD and working on oral exercises. During the week of February 21st we will be starting literacy centres based on the play.
Grade 8 Math
We are working on a unit on geometry and spatial sense. We have now finihsed our study of the coordinate plane.
